PT Engineering developed an analysis in TransModeler of the I-77 Corridor from north of I-485 to north of Catawba Avenue including three interchanges. The study was developed based on the calibrated base year model for the I-77 Corridor (I-5714/I-5715) and included the I-77 Express Lanes project (I-5405). The study evaluated the effect of constructing auxiliary lanes in each direction of I-77 between the Gilead Road, NC 73 and Catawba Avenue interchanges.
